Tyler Bius

Principal Surveyor
Merritt Paul Land Surveying, LLC was founded in 2015 by Tyler Bius and Levi George.Tyler Bius earned a bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying and Mapping from Southern Polytechnic State University in 2012. Tyler worked for an electrical contracting company until 2008 when he started surveying for Prime Engineering conducting ALTA surveys and surveying at the Atlanta Airport. Tyler left Prime Engineering to survey for Atkins, a multinational engineering company, where he stayed until finishing college in 2012. Tyler started working for Norfolk Southern Railroad as a real estate engineer overseeing survey projects and real estate transactions until July of 2017 when he began working full time with his company, Merritt Paul Land Surveying.
Levi George
Partner
Surveyor
Levi George also earned a bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying and Mapping from Southern Polytechnic State University in 2012. Before receiving his degree, Levi worked for eight years in the construction grading industry, his experience has brought a lot of valuable knowledge to the team when it comes to construction staking. After attaining his degree, Levi was hired at Atkins where he conducted FEMA flood studies, ALTA surveys, and DOT surveys. Levi left Atkins to work as a contractor for Norfolk Southern, surveying rail lines for an automated train system project until 2016 when he started working full time at Merritt Paul Land Surveying.
